of East Stockwith  Parish Council

                 To be held on Tuesday 12th march 2020  In the Parish Room

was cancelled due to unforeseen circumanstances

it was agreed by the chairman that the

online policy the Council have in place should be invoked.

1      minutes  - January 2020

          Agreed that these minutes were a true and correct record by

          Cllr W Forington and Cllr C Kernan.

          The Chairman will sign the minutes at the next available meeting.

2     matters to be discussed

            2.1       Election of Chairman and Vice Chairman

                        Proposed Cllr C Kernan;  Seconded Cllr C Connolly;

                        Unanimous – Cllr D Forington was returned as Chairman and

                        Cllr W Forington was returned as Vice Chairman.

            2.2       Land by St Peter’s Close

                        Pocket Park estimate – tree removal £950; Benches and planters £400

                        This item will be discussed as more information is available using online Concensus.

            2.3    Morton Neighbourhood Plan – returned no comments

3    finance - cheques to be authorised and ratified and income received

3.1       Clerks bi - monthly salary £305 plus newsletter £32.60 total £332.60

3.2       Forbes Solicitors - £542 – VAT recoverable £91.20 - paid

3.3       LALC - £29.96

3.4       Burton & Dyson Solicitors - £385.52 – no invoice received as yet

                        All of the above finance was agreed unanimously. 

                        It was agreed that the Chairman and Vice Chairman should sign the cheques required.

4          Date of Next Meeting – Annual Assembly followed by ordinary Council      Meeting Tuesday 19                     May2020at 2pm
